Volleyball Recap: Promise Prepatory Academy Takes a Loss

Promise Prepatory Academy was the 3-1 winner over Valor Christian when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Promise Prepatory Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-22, 15-12.

Promise Prepatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Valor Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Coincidentally, Promise Prepatory Academy and Valor Christian will both be playing River Christian the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Royals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
