Basketball Recap: Newport Skates Past Seaside with Ease

Newport put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 74-37 victory over the Seaside Seagulls. Fans of the Cubs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Newport's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newport will venture away from home to square off against North Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seaside, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Estacada at 4:00 p.m. on December 26th.
