Soccer Recap: Dakota Takes a Loss

Dakota's game on Monday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Utica Eisenhower Eagles, falling 5-2. Dakota have struggled against Utica Eisenhower recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Dakota's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Utica Eisenhower, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Dakota and Utica Eisenhower should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Cougars will square off against Utica Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (91 vs. 222). Meanwhile, Utica Eisenhower (ranked tenth) will meet L'Anse Creuse North (ranked 84th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
