Basketball Recap: Frontier School of Excellence vs. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams
Frontier School of Excellence proved they can win big back in December of 2024 (they won by 25) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 win over the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-58 back in December of 2024.
Leading Frontier School of Excellence to victory were Jakeem Davis and Henry Uti. Davis posted 19 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Uti almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Davis is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Merwis Ramirez Rodriguez, who had three points in addition to nine rebounds, five assists, and five steals.
Frontier School of Excellence was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
