Branson scored well below their previous average of 33.8 points per game last Friday, but luckily it didn't cost them. They were gifted an easy win as Roseland Collegiate Prep wound up forfeiting 0-2. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as Branson are ranked 89 places ahead of Roseland Collegiate Prep in the state rankings.

Meanwhile, if Rincon Valley Christian were riding high off their 63-6 takedown of Roseland Collegiate Prep two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Rincon Valley Christian lost to Stuart Hall by a decisive 20-38 margin. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rincon Valley Christian were outplayed the rest of the way.

Branson's victory lifted them to 6-0 while Rincon Valley Christian's defeat dropped them down to 5-3. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so Branson better be ready for a battle.
