Recap: Cornerstone Prep Academy vs. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints

Cornerstone Prep Academy pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Johnson Ferry Christian Academy 60-55. Cornerstone Prep Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Thursday.

Cornerstone Prep Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Cobb, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Cobb is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 14 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Stone, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Cornerstone Prep Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12.
