Softball Game Preview: Dadeville Tigers vs. Beauregard Hornets

Dadeville hasn't had much luck against Beauregard recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dadeville Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beauregard Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Dadeville and Beulah had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Dadeville lost 9-3 to Beulah on Tuesday.

Dadeville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rorie Mask, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Mask also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Beauregard has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.79 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against Central, falling 12-2. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Dadeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
