Softball Game Preview: Trinity Pioneers vs. Raymond Rams

The Trinity Pioneers will square off against the Raymond Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Trinity couldn't beat Belmont last Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Pioneers lost 10-4 to the Red Raiders.

Catie Bishop made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Cecchetti, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, the third road match was the charm for Raymond, as they earned their first away win of the season. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Newfound Regional 4-3.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Raymond, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
