Baseball Game Preview: Laurel Golden Tornadoes vs. East Central Hornets

For the second straight game, Laurel will face off against East Central. The Golden Tornadoes will host the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Laurel has struggled recently with 14 losses in a row, while East Central will arrive with three straight victories.

Laurel fell victim to East Central and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 10-0.

For East Central's part, Pacey Baria was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Baria a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Matthew Combs, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
