Phinizee Made His Presence Known in Russellville's 44-13 Win
Cameron Phinizee's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his 20th-straight game with 105+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
West Point had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Phinizee it was a similar story. When Phinizee last faced the Warriors back in September of 2023, he rushed for 230 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Jake Harper and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Fairview picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jake Harper. Harper did his part (and then some), rushing for 251 yards on only 13 carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 121 rushing yards.
Fairview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Harper and Fairview will play host again on Friday to welcome East Limestone, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Ollie Howell Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Ollie Howell posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead West Point over Russellville on Friday. Howell rushed for 187 yards while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
This season, Howell has averaged 87.8 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Tarus Davis Leads Russellville over West Point
Russellville was led to victory by Tarus Davis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Davis rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
This season, Davis has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 55.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.
