It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pickens had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 68-48 margin over the Fayette County Tigers. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 24 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Fayette County still got an impressive performance from Aden Saunders, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points. Jaren Blankenship was another key player, putting up eight points.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 28-1. As for Fayette County, they dropped their record down to 14-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Pickens will head out to square off against Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monroe will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pickens surely won't give up without a fight. Fayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
