Softball Game Preview: East Pennsboro Panthers vs. Waynesboro Indians

The East Pennsboro Panthers will take on the Waynesboro Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. East Pennsboro is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when East Pennsboro took on Camp Hill on Thursday. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won nine in a row.

Sofia Morrill was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

East Pennsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Camp Hill only posted an OBP of .250.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Waynesboro and James Buchanan meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Indians fell 9-4 to the Rockets.

East Pennsboro's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Waynesboro, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
