Baseball Recap: Jemison Comes Up Short

Jemison and Elmore County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jemison had to settle for second. They came up short against Elmore County, falling 15-7. Jemison hasn't had much luck with Elmore County recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Jemison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Elmore County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

While Jemison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
