Softball Recap: Cleveland Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Cleveland let Hixson stack four runs on them in the second inning on Friday but luckily Cleveland prevailed anyway. The Blue Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Raiders in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Klaire Hall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Allison Farnsworth, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Landri Nelson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
