Baseball Recap: McHenry Comes Up Short

McHenry blew Jacobs out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Jacobs got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 3-1. That makes it the first time this season the Warriors have let down their home crowd.

This is the second loss in a row for McHenry and nudges their season record down to 22-4-1. As for Jacobs, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McHenry will take on Schaumburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jacobs, they will square off against DeKalb at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
