Michigan City has gone 6-1 against New Prairie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Michigan City is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since November 12, 2024 two weeks ago. They fell just short of Highland by a score of 52-49. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 14-10 in the first quarter.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Paulecia Isom and Jordan Steele. Steele had a solid game and went 6 for 15 on her way to 22 points along with five boards and five steals. Meanwhile, Isom did her best for the losing side, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when New Prairie challenged South Bend Washington on Saturday. New Prairie was dealt an 85-12 loss at the hands of South Bend Washington. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

New Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Michigan City, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Michigan City might still be hurting after the 55-33 defeat they got from New Prairie in their previous matchup back in December of 2021.
