Volleyball Recap: Rangeview Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rangeview entered their tilt with DSST: College View on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wolves.

Rangeview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 15-12.

Rangeview can attribute much of their success to Anthony Tampubolon, who had ten digs. Jason Quach also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Rangeview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.

Rangeview's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for DSST: College View, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Rangeview will take on Denver South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DSST: College View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Denver East on the 11th.
