Basketball Recap: Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Takes a Loss

Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 69-55 to the Northwest Webster Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Cougars are ranked 38th).

Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northwest Webster, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will face off against North Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Webster, they will venture away from home to square off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
