There's no place like home for Cranston West, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the Cranston East Thunderbolts with a sharp 34-8 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Thunderbolts: they've now won eight in a row.

Cranston West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Parent, who rushed for 26 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Parent a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Jon Leroux was another key signal caller, throwing for 209 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Cranston West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Charlie Cornell.

Cranston West's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Cranston East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
