Softball Recap: Barbe Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Barbe's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sulphur Golden Tors by a score of 11-7. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Buccaneers considering their one-run performance the match before.

Barbe pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sulphur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Barbe will face off against David Thibodaux at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sulphur, they will challenge Calvary Baptist Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
