Football Recap: Red Level Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Red Level was the 41-7 winner over Pleasant Home when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 26-22 to the Eagles on Friday. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Eagles since Friday.

Jacob Bryan was nothing short of spectacular for Pleasant Home: he rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Jack Wiggins was another key player, rushing for 67 yards and one TD.

This is the second loss in a row for Red Level and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Pleasant Home, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Red Level has already played their next contest, a 24-20 win against LaFayette on the 26th. As for Pleasant Home, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
