The third road game was the charm for Highland, as they earned their first away win of the season. They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Littlerock Lobos on Friday. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 49-7).

Special teams played a big role in the game for Highland, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Mekhi 'Lil Man' Free, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from him.

Highland picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Littlerock, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Highland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-6 win against Eastside on the 10th. As for Littlerock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 54-0 loss against Lancaster on the 10th.
