It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sparkman had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Thompson Warriors. The victory was nothing new for the Senators as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Eden Parker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.
On the hitting side, Sparkman got a big performance out of Carly White, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Watkins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Sparkman's win bumped their record up to 39-12-1. As for Thompson, their defeat dropped their record down to 41-6.
As of now, neither Sparkman nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
