Lincoln entered their tilt with Hill on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Falcons. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Jayden Peters made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other pitching news, Cole Stromberg looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Andres Garcia was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Ryan Bernwanger was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Lincoln's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hill, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Ann Sobrato on the 6th. As for Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Prospect on the 3rd.
