Kenwood had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.1 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against the Whitney Young Dolphins by the margin of a single free throw, 68-67. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Dolphins are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kenwood's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.1 points per game. As for Whitney Young, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenwood will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 games -- so hopefully Lincoln Park likes a good challenge.
