Basketball Recap: Cypress Falls Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

There's no place like home for Cypress Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Cypress Ridge Rams with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 41-25. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Rams are ranked 817th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress Falls is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cypress Ridge, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Falls will welcome Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
