Baseball Recap: Seventy-First Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Seventy-First's offense. They lost 16-0 to the South View Tigers on Tuesday. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Seventy-First has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for South View, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Looking ahead, South View will take on Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seventy-First will be paying especially close attention to the Tigers' game: after the Tigers face off against the Bucks, they'll take on Seventy-First again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
