Basketball Recap: Pleasanton's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pleasanton extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Douglass. They snuck past the Douglass Bulldogs with a 39-35 win. Winning may never get old, but the Blu-Jays sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the defeat, Douglass had strong showings from Wyatt Moore, who posted ten points and five rebounds, and Jace Pichler, who scored six points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Pichler a new career-high in boards.

Pleasanton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Douglass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Pleasanton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-29 loss against St. Mary's-Colgan on the 6th. Douglass does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
