Football Recap: Southwestern Finishes Even with Silver Creek

Neither the Southwestern Trojans nor the Silver Creek Black Knights could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for an 8-8 tie.

With that tie, Southwestern's record moves to 2-4-1. Meanwhile, Silver Creek's record is now 2-5-1.

Looking ahead, Southwestern will challenge Iroquois at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Redhawks' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Silver Creek, they will be playing at home against Lackawanna at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
