Basketball Game Recap: CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines vs. St. John's Mavericks

The CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines lost against the St. John's Mavericks back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. CHSA HomeSchool ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-39 walloping at the hands of St. John's. While losing is never fun, CHSA HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 505th, while St. John's is ranked 103rd).

Sebastian Williams-Adams was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals for St. John's. The game was Williams-Adams' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Malachi Booker was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for CHSA HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for St. John's, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

CHSA HomeSchool will face off against Liberty Christian at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. As for St. John's, they will take on Fort Worth Christian at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
