Baseball Game Preview: Tri Titans vs. Southwestern Spartans

The Tri Titans will take on the Southwestern Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Tri came up short against Winchester Community on Monday, falling 14-4.

Tri saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kain Knepley, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Southwestern came up short against Knightstown on Monday and fell 8-5.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tri, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1.

Tri took their victory against Southwestern in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
