Basketball Recap: Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy lost against Georgia-Cumberland Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy took a blow against Georgia-Cumberland Academy, falling 77-32.

Austin Samms had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 60% from the field on his way to 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Georgia-Cumberland Academy. That's the most points Samms has posted since back in December of 2024. Kaden Carter was another key player, going 8-for-11 to rack up 18 points and seven boards.

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy will take on Kings Way Christian School at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgia-Cumberland Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Cornerstone Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 71.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
