Basketball Recap: Williams Piles Up the Points Against Grand Canyon

Williams's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They breezed by the Grand Canyon Phantoms to the tune of 72-44. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Williams has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Grand Canyon, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Williams is taking a road trip to face off against Seligman at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grand Canyon, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against El Capitan at 5:30 p.m.
