Wilson Memorial hadn't done well against Fort Defiance recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Green Hornets walked away with an 11-7 win over the Indians. Surprisingly, this marked the Green Hornets' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Wilson Memorial's record is now 8-11. As for Fort Defiance, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson Memorial will face off against Staunton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Storm have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.43 runs per game on average), something the Green Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fort Defiance, they will challenge Riverheads at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gladiators will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
