Volleyball Recap: Greater Johnstown Comes Up Short

Greater Johnstown lost against Westmont Hilltop back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Hilltoppers.

While Greater Johnstown was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Westmont Hilltop's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-10, 25-11.

Greater Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Greater Johnstown is taking a road trip to challenge Portage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmont Hilltop, they will square off against Philipsburg-Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
