Porterville is 8-1-1 against Monache since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Porterville Panthers will head out to take on the Monache Marauders at 6:00 p.m. Monache took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Porterville, who comes in off a win.

Porterville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Mt. Whitney 3-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1000th, while the Trailblazers are ranked 102nd).

Porterville's win bumped their record up to 16-3-4. As for Monache, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1.

Everything went Porterville's way against Monache in their previous meeting back in January, as Porterville made off with a 7-1 victory. In that match, Porterville amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
