Basketball Game Preview: Central Crossing Comets vs. Grove City Greyhounds

Central Crossing is 0-9 against Grove City since December of 2014 but things could change on Friday. The Central Crossing Comets will be playing at home against the Grove City Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. Grove City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Crossing, who comes in off a win.

Central Crossing took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed past Worthington Kilbourne to the tune of 65-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Comets have posted since November 29, 2024.

Meanwhile, Grove City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 46-35 to Lincoln.

Central Crossing will have to keep a close watch on Demitri Adado and Jacob Saxton, a pair of players who had a big impact on Grove City's prior game. Adado posted eight points, while Saxton had seven points.

Central Crossing's win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Grove City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
