Soccer Game Preview: Plainfield East vs. Bolingbrook + How To Watch

The Plainfield East Bengals will face off against the Bolingbrook Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainfield East's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Plainfield East and Yorkville meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Bengals never let the Foxes get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Plainfield East as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jairo Gomez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Bolingbrook earned a 2-0 win over Joliet West on Tuesday.

Bolingbrook now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Plainfield East, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
