Soccer Recap: Williams Valley Comes Up Short

Williams Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Tri-Valley Bulldogs, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tri-Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in September.

Williams Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams Valley will welcome Northern Lehigh at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Marian Catholic at 2:00 p.m. Tri-Valley will be up against Marian Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.54 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
