Recap: Wardlaw Hartridge Rams vs. Dayton Bulldogs
This season hasn't been kind to the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams, who are still winless after their 12th game. They had to suffer through a rough 60-27 loss at the hands of Dayton. Wardlaw Hartridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-11.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dayton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Sherman, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Aden Pecana was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Wardlaw Hartridge bumped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dayton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wardlaw Hartridge will take on Kennedy Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy Memorial has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18. Dayton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Brearley at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Brearley is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
