Walnut Grove hasn't done well against Loganville recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Walnut Grove Warriors blew past the Loganville Red Devils 48-19 on the road. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 39-0 loss the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Emadd Howard was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 305 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards. Billy Hendrix was another major influence, as he rushed for 64 yards and ran in a TD.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Walnut Grove was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 444 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loganville only gained 159.

Although Loganville took the loss, they still got scores from Bryce Genske, Jaydon Alicea, and Kaden Derbridge.

Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Loganville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walnut Grove will welcome Apalachee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Loganville, they will host Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
