Basketball Recap: Etowah Comes Up Short

Etowah lost against Oneonta back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Etowah Blue Devils fell 32-21 to the Oneonta Redskins.

Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Oneonta, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Etowah will welcome Hokes Bluff at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hokes Bluff will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Etowah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oneonta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashville at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Ashville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
