Football Game Preview: Tazewell Bulldogs vs. Grundy Golden Wave + How To Watch

The Tazewell Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Grundy Golden Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tazewell's offense hasn't had much luck over their past five contests, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Tazewell ended up a good deal behind Virginia High and lost 27-10. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Bearcats are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, Grundy fell victim to Richlands and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Blue Tornado 35-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Golden Wave were not able to get on the board.

Grundy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tazewell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Tazewell won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in October of 2024, slipping by Grundy 33-32. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Golden Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
