Basketball Recap: Dr. Krop Takes a Loss

Dr. Krop lost against Hialeah back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dr. Krop Lightning took a blow against the Hialeah Thoroughbreds, falling 51-15. The game marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Dr. Krop and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Hialeah, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mourning at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Hialeah will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
