Basketball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee lost against Sparkman back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lee Generals fell 63-52 to the Sparkman Senators. The Generals' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lee's record now sits at 2-11. As for Sparkman, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Lee and Sparkman could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Lee (ranked 197th) will meet Hazel Green (ranked 36th) at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sparkman will take on Buckhorn at 7:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025 down 110 places (127 vs. 17).
