Softball Recap: Coffee County Central Red Raiders vs. Columbia Central Lions
Coffee County Central won the last time they faced Columbia Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Red Raiders walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Lily Norman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
In other pitching news, Yeidy Cruz looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Paisley Campbell was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Savannah Cooper also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Coffee County Central's record is now 21-12. As for Columbia Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10.
As of now, neither Coffee County Central nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
