Basketball Recap: Caston's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Caston had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 38-29 victory over the Frontier Falcons on Thursday. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Caston's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Frontier, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Caston and Peru will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th. Caston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Frontier, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Twin Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
