After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mooresville, Statesville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the North Iredell Raiders 43-6. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Statesville found their leader in sophomore Jaikoda Harrington, who threw for 202 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Harrington. Paul Cauthen Jr was Harrington's top target, picking up 100 receiving yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Statesville proved: they limited North Iredell to a paltry -0.6 yards per carry. The Greyhounds' ground attack was stronger, having averaged four.

Statesville's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for North Iredell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Statesville nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
