Basketball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar and Thayer squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lamar had to settle for second. They were dealt a 67-39 loss at the hands of the Thayer Bobcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Thayer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Lamar nor Thayer have any future games scheduled.
