Basketball Recap: Hardin Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Hardin Valley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 69-53 bruising from the Farragut Admirals. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Admirals this season, with their most recent loss being a 52-40 defeat last Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farragut to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Lane, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 25 points. Dominic Vanacker was another key player, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

Hardin Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Farragut, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.

Hardin Valley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farragut, they will challenge Bearden at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bearden will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Farragut surely won't give up without a fight.
